Abstract
With their optimistic images and captivating stories, watercolour picture books are an actual means of conserving and encouraging the intangible cultural heritage (ICH) of Liaoning Province, China. They capture the essence of the region's traditions, beliefs, and stories. Liaoning Province offers a motivating environment for the study of its intangible cultural heritage because it is located in an area rich in historical significance and cultural diversity. These works are important for maintaining cultural identity, encouraging community involvement, and advancing intercultural understanding as well as sustainable development. This study objectives to shed light on the complex relationship between art, culture, and community appointment by examining the transformative potential of watercolour picture books in conveying Liaoning's cultural heritage through a quantitative investigation using quantitative analysis via PLS software.
