Abstract

The importance of speech processing has grown significantly, driven by applications such as voice-activated assistants, automated transcription services, and language translation systems. Yet, achieving high phonetic recognition accuracy remains challenging due to the inherent complexity and variability of human speech. This paper introduces an innovative approach to enhancing speech processing accuracy by utilizing advanced machine learning techniques, specifically Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN). By combining the feature extraction strengths of CNNs with the temporal sequence processing capabilities of RNNs, we develop a robust framework aimed at improving phonetic recognition performance.
Our study begins with a thorough literature review that explores the current landscape of speech processing technologies and the significant advancements made possible through machine learning. We then describe our methodology, detailing the processes of data collection, preprocessing, and the architectural design of the integrated CNN-RNN model. The experimental setup is elaborated, including descriptions of the datasets used, implementation details, and the metrics for evaluation. The results section demonstrates that our approach significantly enhances phonetic recognition accuracy compared to conventional methods, supported by extensive testing and comparative analysis.
We further investigate the practical applications of our model, particularly its effectiveness across different languages and dialects. Challenges and limitations encountered during the research are discussed, along with potential solutions. The paper concludes by summarizing the key findings, outlining contributions to the field, and suggesting directions for future research.
