Sharia intentions in inheritance - a descriptive study

Abstract

Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and peace and blessings are upon Taha, the trustworthy Prophet, and his pure and good family and his honorable and blessed companions. I praise Allah abundantly, even though I confess my inability and shortcomings, and I thank Him for the intention. He has assisted and the difficulty He has facilitated. Preserving wealth is one of the five essentials of Islam, and Allah, the Almighty, the Majestic, has made the rules of inheritance in the decisive revelation and has made it obligatory to act upon them and has threatened those who violate them with the most severe punishment. Allah, the Almighty, declares:

“Will be admitted to Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise), to stand therein, and is the great success. And whosoever defies Allah and His Messenger, and transgresses His (set) limits, He will cast him into the Fire, to abide therein; and he shall have a disgraceful torment”[1]

In this study, we will examine the objectives of Sharia in inheritance.
