Abstract
The morphology of plant decoration is considered one of the applied sciences that specializes in studying the external and internal shape of plants and their distinctive form with the aim of achieving utilitarian aesthetic designs, after transforming natural plant shapes into design elements inspired by the shapes of external and internal plants using different printing techniques appropriate for each design. The morphology of plant decoration is linked to a number of Sciences, such as botany, ecology, and environmental design, are integrated design fields that draw inspiration from the environment and preserve its resources. The research is based on three basic approaches. The first approach is to study the concept of plant morphology, the second entry is to create contemporary designs of plant forms in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the third entry is concerned with creating printing plates executed using printing techniques derived from the different plastic values of the plants of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by linking them to the table. On heritage. Through these entries, the concept of plant morphology was clarified, the types of plants in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were identified, and an analytical study of the shapes of these plants and their importance in the field of art in general and the field of printing in particular. Accordingly, we have made several designs suitable for use in printing pendants, inspired by the morphology of plant decoration in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, but they were processed using printing techniques appropriate for each printing design to enrich contemporary printing artistic works.
One of the most important results we reached. Adapting the various plastic possibilities of the morphology of plant decoration in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and employing them in innovative plastic formulations that combine simplicity and modernity, whether in terms of the prepared design or methods of performance, and then using them in printing pendants. The research is also based on the experimental descriptive approach through the personal experience of the research.
